- Bike RodeoStrap on your helmet and get ready to roll! At the Bike Rodeo, scouts learn all about bike and road safety.
- Blue & Gold BanquetOur annual banquet where friends and families celebrate the achievements of our scouts, as well as the leaders and parents who volunteer to make Cub Scouting fantastic. We also say goodbye to our Senior Webelos as they bridge over to Scouts BSA.
- Christmas CarolingAn annual Pack 94 holiday tradition! We visit a local retirement community to sing festive songs and hand out cards. Followed by hot cocoa, cookies, and a visit from that jolly guest in red!
- Family CampEvery Summer, Pack 94 families camp together for a weekend. We enjoy hikes, water bottle rockets, skits, songs, and roasting marshmallows around the campfire. And let’s not forget our Rain Gutter Regatta, where scouts design their own boats and sale them in race powered by a straw blowing!
- Fire and Police DepartmentsEvery year our packs alternate visiting our local fire and police departments.
- OvernighterA one-night campout for our older scouts. Guaranteed laughs, adventure, and memories to last a lifetime!
- Pancake BreakfastHow’s about a helping of flapjacks? The Pancake Breakfast is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Scouts are assigned jobs to help out during breakfast, including serving food, bussing tables, set up and break down.
- Pinewood DerbyA Cub Scout Classic and a study in sportsmanship! Scouts design and race their own pinewood derby cars. They compete for Fastest Car, Best in Show, Most Original design, and Classic car. There are even races for young siblings and parents if Dad wants to race his own car!
- Residence CampA week-long Summer Camp where Scouts from all over Northern California participate in activities like archery, climbing wall, shooting sports, swimming, biking, and canoeing. One parent is required to come so it’s a wonderful opportunity to experience an adventure with your scout! !
- Rocket LaunchingA study in aerodynamics! Each scout designs and launches their own rocket! We safely launch from an open field next to a fire department.
- Sacramento Rivercats GameJoin us a for a minor league baseball game, and cheer on our Rivercats!
- Scouting for FoodScouts think of others and practice good citizenship. We collect canned goods and non-perishables to donate to a local food bank.
- Twilight CampOne of the earliest events of the year for our younger scouts. An evening camp where scouts create first aid kits, learn the Outdoor Code, learn campfire safety, and what to pack for a hike. After the hike, it’s time for dinner, skits, and s’mores! Scouts do not stay overnight.
- USS Pampanito, SS Jeremiah O'Brien & USS HornetScouts climb aboard one of these amazing historic ships. Whether you visit the war ship (Jeremiah O’Brien), the WW2 submarine (Pampanito), or the aircraft carrier (Hornet), the trip is guaranteed to float your boat! We alternate ships each year.
- Veterans Day ParadeEvery year we honor our veterans by marching in the Veterans Day parade! Scouts wave flags and handout special thank you cards to our veterans. The parade concludes at City Hall where we enjoy a hot dog lunch!
- Water Balloon OlympicsJust in time to beat the heat, at the Water Balloon Olympics, our scouts participate in balloon tosses and water games, ending with the most epic water balloon fight ever!
