For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building their own Pinewood Derby car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with their friends at a camp out, your child will LOVE being a Cub Scout.
Joining Pack 94
To join Pack 94 you will need to complete our required online registration forms and submit registration fees. These fees make up a small part of our yearly budget. Your registration includes a membership fee paid directly to Scouts BSA, as well as your local Pack 94 dues. We depend on successful fundraising to offset the majority of our operating expenses and to keep registration fees affordable. Membership fees are due to Scouts BSA at your time of registration, and your Pack 94 dues are to be paid through PayPal when you register with us online. Fee assistance is available if needed.

Cost of Scouting
Costs to Scouting families fall into four categories:
- National BSA Annual Registration Fees and Pack 94 Annual Dues
- Required Fundraising/Donations
- Camping and Special Events
- Scout Uniform
The National fees and Pack dues are collected each Fall by Pack 94 and are a fixed amount.
Scouts are required to participate in two Fundraising Events, which help offset pack events and keep dues low. Families can also opt to donate the funds.
Special Events include campouts, historical ship overnighters, Blue and Gold Banquet, among others. These costs are variable based on the event and collected by the Pack at the time of the event.
The Scout Uniform is required and the responsibility of the family to acquire through online sources, Scout Shop, or River City Scout Shop. (Gently loved, previously owned uniforms are often available through the Pack.)

Wearing uniforms has been a method of the Scouting movement from the beginning. Decades of experience show uniforms have many benefits, including these:
- Equality – The uniform represents a democratic ideal of equality. Scouts from various cultures and different economic levels wear the same uniform and cooperate as equals.
- Identification – the uniform identifies a person as a member of the Cub Scouts. Hats, neckerchiefs, and badges on the uniform tell other members that they belong to their den, pack, and council. The uniform itself identifies a good citizen to the entire community.
- Achievement – The uniform displays badges and other awards so the accomplishments of each Cub Scout can be immediately recognized.
- Commitment – Wearing a uniform is a constant reminder to each Cub Scout of their commitment to the ideals and purposes of Cub Scouting: duty to God, loyalty to country, and helpfulness to others.
